The different types are:

• Vertical preheating and drying ladle’s station;
• Horizontal preheating and drying ladle’s station;
• Preheaters and dryers created on customer’s specifications for special applications and for ladle with a range from 20 to 250 tons.

The various technologies are:

• Cold air burners with long flame: traditional ladle preheating with high swirl burner fed with cold air;
• Regenerative burners: ladle preheating with a pair of regenerative burners. This combustion system allows an energy saving of about 30%;
• Oxygen burners: the top of the Range, a recent technology, make it possible to reach the 55% energy savings compared to conventional technology, with high uniformity.

We can provide a complete heating system that includes a control panel for air and combustible gas, flame retardant and self-extinguishing hoses, valves and safety devices, quick couplings for fast and easy assembly/disassembly, manifolds in lengths and quantities different according to your needs.
The system is equipped with an electronic control, in order to check and adjust the heating temperature desired.
Optional, but increasingly used, the system is provided complete with PLC and operator panel. This optional allows you to record the drying curve and save it in the archive. Another advantage is the simplicity of the diagnostic and setting up of the ramps. The system with PLC is able to program the automatic ignition.
The preheating ladles can work with all gases / oil and heavy oil. The reference standards for the execution of these systems are: CE / CSA / NFPA / GHOST. PCombustion’s preheating and drying systems are certified and manufactured according to our quality standards UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008.
