Interview with Mr Fabio Bodei,  plant manager of  Botticino quarry and Mr Alberto Marzano, mining activities sites manager in the province of Brescia.

What improvements have you obtained, in terms of performance and efficiency?

“The main improvement concerns the adoption of a managing data method and information analysis which was previously not available and did not allow us to reach decisions for improvement. Prior to the software installation we did not had certain criteria to check and decide on corrective actions to increase our productivity due to the lack of possible database to analyze our work progress. Now, we have reached a complete management, unique, integrated to data sharing analyze and to detect anomalies in real time plant performance. Thanks to this software, the productivity in our quarries has changed for the better. Furthermore, we are able to know the trend of our crushing plant and obtain updated and rapid return information”.

How did you gain the decision to entrust Pedercini Group the development of this project?

“Our choice was driven by several factors, above all human and professional trust, mutual cooperation and also the fact that Pedercini Group has twenty years’ experience in the field of technological solutions, given by its continuous R&D.”

“The staff of Pedercini group has been able to respond to our request and support us with professionalism in managing change in a very positive way. Therefore we can assure that their service quality is very good, especially in reference to the management approach put into play”.
